We organize charity walks six times a week, where our dedicated team and volunteers distribute meal bags across the district. These walks not only provide nourishment but also create opportunities for us to connect with each other, understand their needs, and foster a strong sense of community. Each walk lasts for two hours and accommodates a limited number of participants. All ages are welcome, including children aged 5 and older. There’s no need to worry about language barriers—at least one volunteer will be on hand to assist with communication. Participation is completely free, and volunteers don’t need to bring anything, as we supply all the meal bags. We simply recommend wearing comfortable clothing and shoes for the walk. Come join us and help make a difference in our community! We can accommodate private walks for groups or businesses.
Once a month, we conduct Elderly Home Visits, typically scheduled for the end of the month. Our team visits three carefully selected elderly homes in To Ka Wan, prioritizing those with fewer visitors and limited facilities, such as mobility space and air conditioning. During these visits, we spend quality time with the residents, greeting them warmly and providing them with home-baked cupcakes, long-life milk, and fresh fruits. Our goal is to bring joy and companionship to those who may feel isolated, fostering a sense of community and care. Join us in making a difference in the lives of our elderly neighbours!
Our team prepares essential care packages for individuals without shelter, ensuring they receive the necessary toiletries for their daily needs. We focus on convenience by selecting small or medium-sized items that are easy to carry. Each care package typically includes essential items such as shampoo, body soap, tissues, Pak Fah Yeow (Chinese medicated oil), bandages, a shaving kit for men, toothbrushes, toothpaste, Vaseline, mouthwash, napkins, and facemasks. Together, we can provide comfort and support to those in need!
Each year during winter, we host an annual clothes drive to collect warm clothing for men and women, including jackets, coats, sweaters, long-sleeve shirts and t-shirts. We have designated drop-off points across various districts in Kowloon and Hong Kong Island, making it convenient for you to contribute. Once collected, our team sorts the clothing by size and ensures that it is distributed to those in need. Join us in spreading warmth and kindness this winter by donating your warm weather clothes.
During the Mid-Autumn Festival, we recognize that many corporate offices and schools often receive an abundance of mooncakes, leading to unnecessary food waste. We were inspired to launch our Annual Mooncake Drive, beginning two weeks prior to the festival, collecting surplus mooncakes to share with our those in need. Every year we collaborate with our partners, The Lions Club Of Hong Kong, donating over 300 mooncakes to our team to provide to those in need.
